In 2022 when the Terps baseball program was selected to host Regionals, Preston Taylor and Rob Galligan launched a Go Fund Me to “hopefully” cover expenses for a 3-day Tailgate.  They had no idea if the campaign would flat line but they both agreed the risk was worth the reward.  Within hours, the Go Fund Me had enough to cover costs for the weekend and the party started.  That event raised approximately twenty-seven thousand and after bills were paid, a $14,000 check was given back to the Home Run Club.
